Are there niche markets underserved by party plan companies?

People always talk about how important niche markets can be for business. If you find that one profitable niche market, you can get the competitive edge for when other companies try to get it on your profitable market area. And there definitely are still niche markets available in the party plan area, that are definitely still open for new companies.

A year or so ago, the pet market would have been an ideal choice for a new party plan company, and lo and behold, a couple new ones have sprung up (PetLane and Shure Pets).

There is definitely still room for some of the organic product areas, as more and mroe people become conscious of chemicals.

What product areas do you feel would make for an excellent new direct sales company?

Well, I am currently working out details on a new party plan niche. I am working with an international grower of flowers to develop this market in the US.
